Superovulation Induction and Intra-Uterine Insemination (SO-IUI)
Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) is the simplest form of treatment available for infertile couples. It involves the injection of a washed sperm sample into the uterine (womb) cavity of the woman. On the day of the insemination, semen is collected from the partner. The semen undergoes a washing procedure to isolate the active and motile sperm. IUI is a simple and painless procedure. It only takes a few minutes to inject the sperm by using a sterile fine catheter.
